Perfect way to deal a second fatal blow to the Bundesliga after not scrapping 50+1.

Nah, not that easy... European Law...

I think what they mean here is a max. percentage of your grossings for all players combined - which would make sense...

Maybe trying to appease those that are against Geisterspiele?

I’m not sure I follow you... still, wouldn’t any kind of cap serve to dissuade players from moving to the Bundesliga? Why go somewhere with limits on how much you can earn?

Because there’s huge uproar about these games being played and how the clubs always promised the Ultras that the system was crisis-proof (and then close to collapsing after just 4-6 weeks) - so if a cap is directed at what clubs gross... It would mean that they wouldn’t spend more than a little less of what they earn to be prepared for crises...

Which maybe won’t come in Spain, but let’s face it, they'll just give all their dent to the city anyway and let German taxpayers handle it

This should be the way forward for all associations...
Agents had ruined the game...

another thing that should be done is to stop betting companions from sponsoring football teams and competitions.(serie A is going to be the first to do this)
And also banning them from doing bets on football. (Ok this may come to haunt the game as illegal betting will surely take over so it is something to be studied carefully)

As for the cap perse , probably a cap on the market value makes more sense

Or, you know, you could let go of your insane overcapitalistic approach

He clearly suggests this to be tackled by UEFA and universally, so there won’t be any negative repercussions on our ability to compete, which I know is your biggest concern... So there really is no reason at all to continue to be THAT "high" and out of touch...

No, it's not a case of capitalism. It's a case of being at the 100m sprint at the Olympics and not having your shoelaces tied together.

If he wants it just for Germany, he can fuck off.

If he wants it continental/universal, then he's a bigger idiot than I thought. That won't happen.

Boo what? Why are you hell bent on having some Hitler-style vision for a pure Germany which would involve Bayern sucking in Europe, just for the sake of being old-fashioned?

Of course his approach is continental... Apparently there are precedents for a cap in the industry... No idea... But his goal was never to weaken Bundesliga... And while I agree, professional soccer depends on good, high wages, they don’t need to be completely off the hook...
