Just for fun....By my count (which admittedly may be flawed, lol) here are the Bundesliga standings so far in the 2019 calendar year (1 Jan 2019 until now)...I left out the teams that were relegated and promoted to keep a more level playing field, so to speak. The teams with an asterisk* have one less match played as they are all scheduled to play tomorrow.

Bayern - 56
Leipzig - 49
Leverkusen - 48
Dortmund - 46
Wolfsburg - 39*
Bremen - 38*
Gladbach - 37*
Frankfurt - 37*
Hoffenheim - 34
Mainz - 34
Fortuna Dusseldorf - 30
Hertha - 29
Freiburg - 29
Schalke - 29
Augsburg - 22*

We need to get rid of Favre... :( This guy had over a year to create a successful strategy against smaller teams, we made no progress in that time. He might be a good coach for a team like Gladbach, Hertha or Nice because he can focus on counter-attacking. But in Dortmund the expectations are higher. He's not the right coach for us. I won't be surprised if we make a deep run in the Champions League this season but in the league we have nothing to look for by playing like this.

Well, I don't think Favre told Akanji to score in his own goal

Freiburg's first goal was amazing, but the second one was pub league level.

3-0 after 13 minutes.
#12's favourite club Borussia Moenchengladbach will be 2 points clear at the top of the table. At least until Wolfsburg play their match.

Wanna swap?
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

So Wolfsburg's won too. We're down to third place now.

And quite frankly, regardless of WHO is ahead, we do not deserve more than that so far...

Augsburg are a team that have started to irritate me. I so hope they get relegated this season

Bayern is teasing Dortmund, they're saying "look, the title is yours for the taking, you just have to win games!" knowing full well we won't win games.

Would be nice to win today though and show we want to achieve something this season.

Kovac’s job is again and again being saved by the competition drawing games.
