I really can't believe how bad are Schalke playing in the last 5,6 games. No defending, the midfield is dead except McKennie who's trying to do everything on his own, since the attack of Kutucu and Boujellab is non-existing. I can't believe how bad are they under David Wagner, but what can you expect from an ex-Huddersfield defensive-minded coach.

On the other hand, Andre Silva with another goal and he's got 7 since the restart.

I think they are already in the 2. Liga. It's even better for them, the current Werder Bremen situation has been active for too long, since 2010/2011 till nowadays. Unsustainable model of operating, consequences: disappearing from the German elite and total anonymous club in European frames. HSV, Stuttgart, FCK, FCN, 1860 München... they all share the same destiny in modern football.

You also know there’s a rivalry between Düsseldorf and Köln? You could just as well speculate on Köln wanting to get rid of Düsseldorf...

Very interesting. It confirms something I’ve been saying for a couple of years, that Leipzig always start off as the best team in the Bundesliga but they generally don’t worry me much because I know they’ll start dropping points constantly eventually... although I did expect them to stay there till the end this time. I like comparing them to a local team who do exactly the same thing every season.

Schalke’s is unbelievable.
