This. Except one is never truly impartial when it comes to Bayern. You either love them (as you're a fan) or you despise them.

It is impossible to be impartial anyway because they will all be ex-players or somehow involved with a club before, but at least not someone who is currently in that role...

I agree with this. In Croatia, all FA presidents were/are linked with football, come from football and their entire life was/is football. Football legend Davor Šuker is the current president of Croatia FA, but wohoho number of fans hate him so much because he is labelled as a puppet of Zdravko Mamić, Dinamo ZG alpha and omegaand that's something very controversial and questionable.

Still, being objective, regardless from what background, club, region or citiy you come, is something that must be mandatory and personal emotions, love and sympathies towards your former beloved club also excluded in this job. Otherwise, we have a conflict of interests.

Don't cheat by clicking on the tweet!

Try and crack the "code" here. Pretty interesting once you figure it out IMO.

Interesting. Probably either 1) the Bundesliga points based only on the first or second half results, or 2) the Bundesliga points if only certain players' G&A are included/excluded. Impossible to tell without a real analysis really.

The answer (per Bundesliga) is points after removing each club's top scorer's goals.

*(it should be noted, however, that it's just a "raw" removal of all goals, wherein it doesn't necessarily include the 'context'. Obviously, a goal scored when we're up 3-0 to make it 4-0 doesn't have any bearing on the match...but if we win 4-0 and Lewy scores the 1-0 goal, that should be counted as the 'winning goal' IMO.)

Pizarro's winner vs Leipzig was his 197th league goal. Fecking happy for this old fella.

Congrats on the title. Dissapointing that BVB didn't take advantage of Bayern not being at their best but it was nice to finally be in a serious title race for the first time since 2012.

Thank you and congratulations on a very hard fought title race. In the end you were your biggest enemies.

Admit it though, even you were happy to see Robbery score. They’ve defined the Bundesliga for a decade and more. I genuinely think I would be happy about their fairy tale ending if they were our rivals. Football is beautiful sometimes.

Yeah, it's not like I was jumping from joy ( :D ) but it was a nice goodbye to the legends.

Did VAR take a single action which benefited us this entire Bundesliga season? I remember it acting against us many times this season:
Goretzka/Muller's goal disallowed on the first match day for a spurious handball.
Lewandowski's goal disallowed away against Leverkusen for a exceptionally close offsides call.
Goretzka's goal disallowed away against RB Leipzig for a spurious offsides call.
Gnabry's goal disallowed home against Frankfurt for an offsides call.

A ridiculous penalty given to Fortuna Duesseldorf for a Mats Hummels handball.
A ridiculous penalty given to Hannover 96 for a Boateng "handball."

Meanwhile, I can't recall a single instance where VAR gave us a penalty or disallowed the goals of one of our opponents.

Forget all those. Just look at how Gladbach were screwed today.

This is it for 2018/2019 season. In a turbulent season like this one we actually managed in almost every single category be the best except having the best defense in the league and a player with most assists.

Let's compensate that with the DFB Pokal trophy next Saturday.
