That's what I was thinking for most of the season, but now that it's approaching I can't bring myself to keep thinking this. Hopefully, having a 'scare', maybe winning the Bundesliga in the last minute (Schalke, anyone?) would be enough.

Nevertheless, should we fail to win the Bundesliga, that's got to help generate more outside interest in a league that's largely perceived as a one-horse race.

I'm conflicted between seeing BVB and Leipzig win the titles and other people rubbing it into our face versus having to suffer with Kovac on the sideline for another season.
In an ideal world, the decision about our coach wouldn't depend on whether we barely manage to win the double...
----------- Lewandowski ---------
Gnabry ----- Havertz ------ Sané
--------- Thiago --- Tolisso -------
Alaba --- Lucas -- Süle --- Kimmich
---------------- Neuer -----------------

Coach: Erik ten Hag

THIS is how a title contender plays! 5 minutes, GAME OVER...

And our alleged WC struggles against Hannover and Nuremberg...
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

Yeah, I get you, even though I wouldn't have other people rubbing it into my face because practically nobody in Malta cares for the Bundesliga (and the few who do support Bayern).

But still laugh at us when we lose...
I can still remember when we lost 4-1 to Hannover

You’re right, of course it is a FANTASTIC achievement to beat a designated relegated team at home with bad boring soccer... After drawing against the other a week ago in what would’ve been the knockout for the future champions...

In the end, BVB were lucky to walk away with 1 point. They're unable to win, they succumb under pressure, they're too scared and inexperienced. They won't win the Bundesliga even if Bayern lose the remaining two matches.

Yes and no... They could’ve easily lead by more but it’s true... Would have felt better last week as it left some aftertaste, but at least we have a more reliable lead now...
