Your Rückrunde has been just terrible, nothing in comparison to your historic Hinrunde which looked so great when we take a look at the facts what Favre and your completely new team managed to achieve in a period of 4-5 months. You are still young, inexperienced and undefined and by undefined I mean you never know who's your next top performer to leave the club.
That's why I call you Jugendmund - a young, perspective team that can grow and become awesome through 2-3 years if all players stay and you keep improving the existing structure with new ones, but eventually must ask itself and respond to reality which is in other words: "When/How can we be sure that we will stop being a temporary station for foreign players and future stars?"
That's what happened to you between 2011 and 2014, Klopp burned out and not even Tuchel himself in 2015 and 2016 couldn't change that otherwise you would've been a regular CL quarterfinalist for the last 4 years and very likely the winner of the previous 2 Bundesliga seasons.
Auf geht's ihr Roten!

The coincidence is real. In the Hoffenheim vs Wolfsburg match, each keeper saved a shot that went on to hit the crossbar. In our match, the Nurnberng keeper saved two shots that went on to hit the crossbar.

All in all, a good weekend for us. We doubled our points lead at the top of the Bundesliga and it's quite possible that we will extend them further in 6 days time. We play the easiest match of the calendar (on paper) while BVB have a tricky away trip at Bremen kicking off fresh from the news of our (highly probable) victory and a temporary 5 point lead. That's gonna test their winning mentality.

"What we did" is still better than what BVB did. :coffee:

That’s the most likely scenario...
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

You probably believe we will finish 3rd.

Nope, but runners up in two competitions...

- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!

Well Mainz managed to play RBL to a draw today, so whatever slim chance RBL had of possibly sneaking into winning the title is all but gone at this point....with two games left I suppose they could tie us on 71 points, but would need to make up the +15 GD that favors us at the moment, so...

I do wonder if it will impact their approach to our league match with them and the Pokal. As it's been speculated here and elsewhere, they'll likely show very little against us in the league but rather save what they can for the cup. I suppose it's fair to say that a potential Pokal title and 3rd place finish is better than no Pokal title but 2nd place league finish. And of course they can't drop any lower than 3rd, so not a ton to be gained by going all out in these last two league matches at this point.

1.) It’s really BAD it’s come this far: we actually need to speculate about this to stand a chance at Leipzig...
2.) They don’t need to go all out... We cannot even win at Nürnberg... Knowing it’s a match point... We’re a team that‘s shitting its pants instead of delivering the blow...
