Destiny... that must have been a real shock for Alcacer

Valencia CF and tragedies... Santiago Cañizares during the CL final 2001 lost his father while he was playing another big match of his career against Bayern.

The worst thing that can happen in your life happened to the legendary GK last year. In March 2018 he also lost his son after a long illness, 5-year-old Santi. :(

Really? I was really pissed off with his behaviour, especially during the penalty shootout. Was calling for him to be sent off during the penalty shootout. So maybe there's some explanation why he was being such an a-hole.

That's why the full-time picture of Kahn going towards sad and destroyed Cañizares was so great and special. Kahn found out what happened to his father during the match.

I thought that action was just because his GK colleague lost 2x in rows, but it way bigger than football itself.

I'll try, but I read it within the last 3-4 years on a Croatian site. It was a column about Valencia finals, Héctor Cupér and Santiago's tragedy.

It was his mum, but still that is fake news. I read it on facebook too and it is one of those bullshit made up fake stories

Even Cañizares quoted the picture himself

Dream on
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

I‘m mostly right... But the reason I don’t want it to happen is cause it would make Uli and Kalle even more complacent...

We had our chance to make it like 3-0 in 5-10 minutes after the goal but Reus wasted 3 great opportunites in those 10 minutes. :D

Later we couldn't get our flow. A bit dissapointing performance. But I'll take that +1 to the gat between us and Bayern.
