Absolutely crucial win. We were trying to play it a little bit too safe in the second half, maybe we were nervous or something. But again, 3 points are there and that's what matters now. 42 points in the first half of the season, this is a brilliant result for BVB. Now the pressure is on Bayern again.

And as I said many times, Gladbach are not a title challenger material. It didn't even really feel like they were trying to turn the game around.

Get ready to see both
- Rangnick or ten Hag in!
- Bring a DM, a winger (Sané) and Havertz!
- Get a REAL sports director (Rangnick?)!
- Keep Hoeness and Rummenigge far away from the team!

They'll come up with some made up shit about him being the main reason for them winning.

He might not be the top reason for us leading but Sancho is probably the biggest U19 attacking talent in the world and he played a huge part in this so far great season. Not one bit overrated.

0.07 xG on the goal.

Dortmund lead us by SEVEN points. Overcoming that is going to be extremely difficult and probably unlikely because Bayern would need to be flawless in 2019 and also Dortmund would have to lose games as well.

Not really. The goal difference is only +8 in our favour so, assuming Bayern catches up to Dortmund, this will even out.

2019 will be exciting on all fronts.

Those 7 points could easily be 6 if we leave all the crap behind i.e gifting 3 goals to Düsseldorf and Gladbach at home, etc.

And they still need to play in Munich. We'll see what happens. They could even drop points in the first game after the winter break which is not an easy one btw.

Let's say they draw in Leipzig and we win in Hoffenheim.

We would be just 4 points behind with 48 remaining. And again, they still need to play in Munich.

They are obviously the favourites now. But the title race is pretty much open.

Another thing is that I really doubt they will get as many points in the rückrunde as they did in the hinrunde. And at the same time it's not too far fetched to think that Bayern won't to as bad and will get more points.

I think we can actually play a similar round to this one. We weren't perfect, we drew against Hannover, Hoffenheim and Hertha and we lost against Dusseldorf. It all could have been avoided (maybe except Hoffenheim). I expect Dortmund to play better football in 2019, which doesn't necessarly mean we will get more points but we will be more deadly in attack and still solid in defence. I see us getting 40~ points again.

Who knows, maybe it will actually come down to our head to head game and it will all be decided in Munich. One way or the other, it's going to be exciting.
