Shame that the ref refused to consult the var.#12 wrote:Yeah so?

Are you sure that you support the team in red?????sherpthederp wrote:#12 wrote:Yeah so?

Exactly, if he managed to stay on his feet and retrieve the ball the scoring opportunity would have been lost. Neuer has bad timing on his decision to go for the ball and Reus capitalized on it. It was the right move for Reus

It’s a TEXTBOOK penalty
My friend who happens to be a bvb fan also admitted that It was not ...MUTU wrote:#12 wrote:Oh please ramsej, as always you are immune to reality and facts... What would VAR have topd him? There’s CLEARLY contact and I think it was in the box as well

In the meantime my father in law who supports Milan is insisting that Reus should have been yellow carded for trying to win the penalty. For me it was a penalty but ramsej84 is not alone in thinking it wasn't cos even neutral fans agree.
We had 3 decent penalty shouts. A foul on Lewandowski and 2 handballs, one of which is under discussion for a rules change that would make it impossible for a referee to rule it not a penalty (handball above shoulder).
Where was the V.A.R ????America USA wrote:What Reus did was cunning. I saw the replays and he got the ball first and kicked the ball out of play rather than passing/hitting it goal wards. He intentionally drew contact from Neuer and baited the referee into giving a penalty. But that’s Neuer’s fault for acting like an indecisive amateur and letting that situation arise in the first place.
Meanwhile Germany needs such clever/sly players and Reus could be the answer. Even France have Griezmann who plays these dark tricks to win penalties/free kicks for the “French” national team.

Of course not.... they wanted bayern to lose...
We can't keep on winning every yr.
Im sorry, I know the French dont like when people say this but, Its really not a "French" team. You look at all of their players and it mostly consists of Africans. Majority of other europeans consider France as a "African national team".America USA wrote:What Reus did was cunning.
