Yes, it's a fair decision but it sucks for the goal scorer.

But it's the same with supporters. Your team scores a very important goal, everyone celebrates and then after 1 minute it is disallowed :x

Well, Higuain did that at the World Cup final, and there was no VAR at the time :coffee:

It really is a testament to the BuLi's decline that Schalke are second. Also Leverkusen qualifying to the CL. Next season will be another humiliation for the German teams. RBL is screwing up big time by not qualifying to the CL.

I hope Hoffenheim doesn't get into CL spots, it would be even worse.

I think if Dortmund can get a better coach and Schalke don’t lose too many players in the summer then they could be decent teams in the UCL next season. I hope the 4th spot goes to one of either Hoffenheim or Leverkusen or Leipzig. All three young exciting talented teams.

There's nothing exciting about Hoffenheim, Schalke or Neverkusen. They have bad squads that won't make it out of the group stages. Dortmund are underperforming their talent level quite a lot indeed, if they can get a great coach they will improve markedly. Schalke already lost Göretzka and Meyer....

Where is Meyer going?

Also, German football has believed in relying upon good coaches to close the gap against better quality teams. S04 and Hoff have a decent managers. Leverkusen have a very talented squad. Dortmund are of course the best of the lot quality wise but are solely lacking in the coaching department.

Leipzig have RH to blame for their problems. His managerial decisions in recent games have been pathetic. However I hope Werner at least gets to play in the EL next season.

For me the Reus goal should have stood. It was similar to Bernat for Bayern earlier today. In offside decisions, If it is not clear and obvious then the benefit of the doubt goes to the attacker.

If the squad is lackluster, the team won't have an impact in the CL. The squad doesn't have to be world class, but it has to be talented. In recent years, whenever a BuLi team did well on the CL it was on the basis of fairly talented squads; Wolfsburg when they had KDB and Ricardo Rodríguez plus a fairly good squad, Schalke with Sané, Meyer, Göretzka, Leverkusen under Schmidt with Calhanoglu, Brandt, Mehmedi, Chicharito... There is a sailing to teams that don't have good enough squads, regardless of management; the gap is just too big.

Schalke and Hoffenheim have shitty squads. They shouldn't be in the CL.

Don't know where Meyer will go, but he is set to leave on a free transfer in the summer.

Manchester City...

Also, I don’t blame you for not knowing, cause we Bayern fans have no idea what that is, but: good scouting...

Well, he showed up on Goalimpact's list of top talents that they published just a few days ago(with Pulisic and Matthijs de Ligt).

Ugh... Hamburg 2:0 up vs Wolfsburg. Do they have some sort of lucky charm.

They‘re there when it matters - a trait lost to Bayern and its fans...

And Bundesliga is a shit joke - they won’t even need playoffs to stay in...
