However, after recent happenings in Mönchengladbach, Bonita Bananas have seen their sales figures steeply on the rise. Inspired by an episode in the DFB-Pokal semifinal match between Borussia Mönchengladbach and FC Bayern Munich, Bonita Bananas have been quick to act and have launched a new campaign in Germany with a brand new logo:
In the meantime, Bayern Munich striker Nils Petersen was unavailable for comment regarding the whole situation, but it is believed that his lawyers may press charges against Bonita for using his picture without his permission.
