I have removed the bulky player rating widgets. Instead, there will be a button that opens up the player ratings, something like this:

Also, after a match in the page header where it says "Last match: xxx 0-0 xxx [chat logs]" it now also includes a " [player ratings]" text link which opens up a modal popup (just like the above button does). This should help with scrolling, being able to access the player ratings easier and also no longer in-your-face if you're just not interested.

I've also changed our fixtures page so that next to the score there's a star that when clicked on will open the modal popup with the player ratings for that match.

Any thoughts please?

But I think you prefer more active members thoughts.

It's a nice edition but I think the way to access it (the star) does not look good.

Great idea for the widget.

I don't really use the fixture page except as calendar on my tablet.

Perhaps clicking the score? We can access the match thread by clicking the date. Or you could keep the star but move it... maybe add a small column at the end of the table?

Clicking the score is not intuitive enough. As regards adding a column that's what I tried first but there isn't enough space, plus it'd look messy. What exactly don't you like about the star next to the score please? I figured it'd be the most usable.

Any other people care to share their opinion on this matter please?
