The highlight of this clip is the GoPro advertisement at the end, even mentioned by the commentator.

The commentators mention advertisements in sports games in the US all the time.

I remember this game, haha. I was going crazy because I thought Soumare cleared it, but sadly, he was a millisecond away. :(

Big fan of my Chicago Fire. :D Hopefully we have a better season next year now that we have Mike Magee. All we need is to improve our god-awful defence.

I would love to see that in the distant future (4 - 5 years?). Also, Ibra said basically the same thing about playing in the MLS one day.

This is like 6 months too late, but I just realized that this thread even existed. My local team, the Austin Aztex, won the USL PDL Championships, the fourth division of American soccer. I was there, and it was pretty freaking amazing.

If anyone wants a glimpse of what we deal with here in the States take a look at this haha:

Luckily this is a small and diminishing population of ignorant people (who are mostly confined here in the South with me anyway). Also this lady like any other "celebrity" is merely seeking attention.

I had to search for it after I heard it. In the afternoon I get local sports news on the radio which is just local hicks calling in lamenting that college (American) football is not the sole focus of attention anymore. At least most people, even if they are not fans of the sport can at least support the country in any given sporting pursuit. I'd support Germany and USA in baseball if I had to. ;) Any sport once one understands the effort and technical ability required as well as the stakes will be exciting.

LOL what an article. Hahaha. Unbelievable.

Can't the writer just watch basketball instead where teams score all the time and stop writing nonsense?

Is this article serious? Or it just meant to be humorous? I don't think any sane person would write something like that and post it in public.
