That's some serious knowledge, MUTU. I thought Boateng's father played, but I didn't find anything with a very quick search. I had no idea about the other six.

Depends what you mean by played. I suppose they kicked a ball sometime in their life. Even if they didn't, their sons are still better footballers.

^This. They have to at least have played professionally. Taking my "thanks" away from MUTU's post...I'm sure he'll fully recover

So you expect some of the 20 best footballers of all time out of easily 20+ billion people who existed in those times to:
1) have a son
2) convince him to play football
3) be even better than them.

The probability of something like that happening is far less than a comet striking Earth.

I am not expecting anything, i am just saying that Zidane's four sons only play there because he is their father and because he works there.

Seems like some tz reporter was reading BayernForum.com. They've written an article now about comparing players and their fathers. What's interesting is that Oliver Kahn's father Rolf played in the Bundesliga. Christian Nerlinger's father was also better than his father Helmut.

Can't believe I forgot about Kahn. I knew that.

Did you guys hear about the Algerian Ligue 1?

Between the 1st place and the last place (16th) there are only 11 points. With 4 matches remaining, all teams are still within a mathematical chance of winning the league

What happened here, reason behind this?
Statistics are like miniskirts . What they reveal is tantalizing, but what they hide is crucial.

Forget Messi, forget Ronaldo - NOBODY has scored a golazo like Malta’s Alfred Effiong [source]
