It's funny how all but one of them (Falcao) left the CL semifinal 2nd leg with their heads lowered, including 2 who lost their penalty against Bayern and one (Messi) who lost a penalty against Chelsea.

You just cannot not include "Fernandon't Scorres" in there. His presence alone would lead his team to trophy-winning seasons. He doesn't even need to play. Just be there on the squad sheet.

I don't believe Pique should have been there either.

Regarding the coach of the year, it's not a bad choice but Conte or Klopp would have been more deserving, I think.

+1

Conte definitely deserved that title. I don't see Pirlo who demonstrated total domination through entire year in Juventus, as well as in Azzuri.

Total disgrace. Still, I don't see our Lahm who is always the best side back on international competitions. Chiellini also missed, as well as van Persie who really did great by Arsenal last season in PL.

Messi didn't succeed to win any of trophies last season, but still he can be the best. Some players need to have a great performances and all trophies, some just need to have great stats, every single day media shitting and you can take the show to Falcao, van Perise, Conte, etc.

No wonder why people are mad, sick and tired of these every fcking day Messi and Ronaldo stories, about who has the bigger one, whose girlfriend and wife has bigger mouth, tits, booty, etc.

I can't really complain about the decision to award Messi this title. He easily was the most deserving player in my opinion. It's not just about what you win. Messi's 2012 was probably the best calendar year any player in history has ever had as far as personal achievements are concerned. It's not just about his 91 goals.

There are other amazing players apart from Ronaldo and Messi though, and there also teams outside of Spain who have great players.

Messi deserves it

But the disaster is that there are no players outside the La Liga

Cech
Lahm,Hummels,Kompany,Ashley cole
Ronaldo,Pirlo,Xavi,Iniesta
Falcao,messi

This is much better

Reggie Jackson (of the 1977 NY Yankees) when asked, "What's the biggest thing you've noticed (about the team) since being injured?" " The magnitude of ME!"

 Of course Lahm is better, but trophies are what counts, and he won 2.

That shouldn't determine if he gets into the best team as best right back.

But it has a big weigh, at least. If only the performances are considered, then we would've seen at least Ribery and Gomez in the XI. If we won the CL, both of them would have made the list along with Lahm, or at least seriously considered.
