Screw that. Apparently he got injured too.

So now, Buffon's votes are out and he's voted Pirlo first, CR 2nd and Messi 3rd.

There you have it. Anyone with any hopes for Ribsy should bring down his expectations.

But, but, I was talking about Pirlo. Heck! Everyone of our players on the list is more deserving than Pirlo.
But yeah everyone votes for their own team mates. Can't people be fair for once?
Just look at Lahm. He voted for Iniesta, Messi and CR last year in that order.

Even players who aren't on the list are more deserving than Pirlo.

You forgeot Mandzu? The way he ran over Pirlo in those 2 matches, even he was more deserving. :|
Pirlo had the worst stats of his career. Only that is enough proof that everyone of our players is more deserving.

Can someone please explain what they're saying here? The translation isn't so good.

Actually found an English article, ironically on SportsMole.

FIFA have reportedly cancelled a photoshoot with Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery because Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to scoop the Ballon d'Or.

The Frenchman recently claimed that he is "confident" of winning the award after clinching the Champions League and Bundesliga title with Bayern last season.

However, rumours have circulated claiming that a Ballon d'Or photoshoot with the player has been cancelled due to their belief that he will not be crowned the winner, according to Punto Pelota.

FIFA extended the voting until November 29. [source]

From what I read on facebook, Ribery had a scheduled photoshoot which got cancelled, leading to speculation that it is Ronaldo who won, not him.

In other news, the captain of Albania voted for Ribery. Our hope lies with these people from smaller nations who cannot be biased in favour of their team mates.

I am not going to worry anymore about it...
The important thing is that trophies continue to fill in spaces at our Museum @ the Allianz Arena...
