You may be joking, but I honestly think this.

I am partly joking. But yes, he can make goals out thin air. I can only imagine what his goal tally can be if there's an actual midfield to support and create chances for him. =P~

I expect Ronaldo will take this. Before the play-offs for Brasil, I was convienced this is it and Ribery is the best player of the world in 2013.

Maybe he will have a chance, but he has to trust onto "fortune favours the brave". I share that opinion mostly because of the subjective choices from the captains of the national teams.

Captain of Croatia, Darijo Srna, chose the players: Ronaldo, Messi and Ibrahimović and coaches: Mourinho, Ancelotti and Klopp.

No Ribery no Jupp. What a moron... At least Niko Kovač who spent almost entire career in BuLi was generous; Ribery, Ibrahimović, Lewandowski and Heynckes, Kloop, Ancelotti.

Calling that BS is an insult to the word BS.

I think I'll drop a mail telling them that I've lost all respect for their sports journalism.

So you think 5th is justified? :?
The hell are Neymar/Bale/Xavi/Aguero doing in Top 10? Aguero had a very poor 2012-13 season.
Suarez because of his exploits this year from Jan to Dec is worthy and perhaps placed properly at 9th.

1st and 2nd should Ribery and CR. I can understand why CR is voted above because of his CL goals record and the hat-trick. But Messi/Ibra should come after Ribery. And Robben and Lahm should be in Top 10.
There are so many anomalies in that list that I could go on pointing out but I'd rather not for my sake. :)

No, starting from 1 it is BS but I wanted to see the extent of BSness and reaching 6th spot made it clear that it is ultimate crap!

Well, in all fairness, the whole point of that list is compiling opinions. Of course, Nesta picked only players he himself had played against, the italians and spaniards only picked... well, italians and spaniards, and the english picked only players from The Best League In The World (TM).

And Zlatan is the hipster Ballon d'or choice, so he gets votes from that.

I've just read (teletext) that Del Bosque voted for Ribery.
