The accusations were on our current coach which was assistant coach until few weeks ago (also Croatian) but the club cleared him.

I did not hear anything about the rest ...
Sponsor who MC Donalds ? or the French business man who is now with Luxol ?

The French one of course

99% the French man is involved.
In fact the match that ringed the bell was the game against his current team St.Andrews in the strange defeat in the FA Trophy

St Andrews have had many questionable results this season including against us in the first round. We played against them again yesterday and I read there were some very controversial things too but I don't know the details.

I'd think the smaller leagues are the most easily influenced, criminal gamblers can bet on these matches and can gradually make a lot of money.
To all those, Over the years,
who have come to
Munich as strangers
and left as good friends.

What do you guys consider an appropriate sentence for cases of corruption in sports (let's focus just on match fixing)? Is sports serious enough for a prison sentence?

Yes... because one who commits such a crime is guilty of killing the dreams of millions of people...

Those who are found guilty should spend 10years minimum...

We shall not forget that this mafia is being run by big big ppl who are in other industries...

I've said this argument years ago while mostly drunk... if someone breaks the rules in order to get millions in his and his colleagues' pockets, in other industries it's considered fraud and punished by imprisonment. Yet, players are allowed to cheat and get away with cheating even after being proven guilty on video. Millions of euros are in question, as well as dreams of several millions of people as well as permanent bragging rights.

If two persons steal a car; one steals a Bugatti Veyron and another steals a rusted Fiat Uno, and both are caught, would they get the same punishment?

UEFA, European football’s governing body, has informed the Malta Football Association that it has initiated disciplinary proceedings in connection with its investigation into allegations of match-fixing attempts concerning two games played by the Malta Under-21 team last year.
The matches are the 2015-17 UEFA Championship Group 1 qualifiers, Malta vs Montenegro (0-1), played at the Hibernians Stadium on March 23, and Malta vs Czech Republic (0-7), played at the National Stadium on March 29. [source]
