I understand ramsej's view, but at the same time these are youngsters. The prospect of easy money easily influences them. I'd be more upset if it were a senior player.

There is match fixing among seniors and stars you'd never think of... but harder to be caught... the majority are goalies...

Some years ago the draw for the CL last 16 (or quarter final?) was identical in the trial and the actual draw. I can't imagine what the odds of that happening are. I'd bet that's the tournament, assuming Blatter's accusations are true.

I remember that one! Came out the night before as a "test" draw.

You gotta say though: there's so many things to take into consideration, like teams of a certain country not being allowed to play each other, that it's actually not THAT unlikely in the round of 16...

You also have to ask yourself why the f*ck they would purposely have the same draw twice. If I were to cheat on a draw, that's exactly what I would NOT do.

Honestly, how could anyone believe anything Blatter says is beyond me.

There is most probably corruption at the UEFA, the draws are possibly rigged but I certainly would not believe this one iota more than before because of this statement.

The guy is the most corrupted man in the football world. All he wants is to get the attention off him...

Well the possibility of a leak exists, or it was just insane odds. Hell knows.

And I have to agree... It's suspicious as fck how he washes his hands clean of all sin saying nothing happened under him.
