I don't know why he resigned, but i think comparing both is like comparing apples and oranges, or strikers and goalkeepers. Both of them have different roles and challenges. But in the end Low got the most important title. So i could say he deserves it.

Its ok..deep down we all knew who was going to win it..
we all knew neuer will not be the only german player they will vote for..so the votes will be divided..
feeling very happy for low..it took 8 years of hard work to achieve this..club coaches have a transfer market to correct things but NT coaches have to deal with what they got..
regarding lewa..what he did was disgusting..ok i accept all the arguments that he voted for ronaldo coz he thought he was the best ..now come to his other vote..the coaches..
its clear by all logic ancelotti wasn't the best coach last year..ok,he is polish and will not vote for a german(maybe)..maybe he thought guardiola was not up to the mark last year..but then he SHOULD have voted for Simeone..then this logic of him being fair would have been acceptable..
"one dirty fish spoils the whole pond."
he should be shipped out..a morally bankrupt idiot who at the moment can't even perform his job capably..alex meier has DOUBLE the no.of goals he has!

You sound like a girl... Stop being a drama queen, it counts what he does on the pitch, not in a shitty vote where you knew Ronaldo would be given the thing anyway.

Can't see tweet? Click here!

German voters and Belgian voters tend to vote their compatriots. Spanish voters were mostly Madridistas. A lot of South American countries favor Messi while it's mostly European for Ronaldo. lol at USA... likes both. Power of marketing. :P

I do recall a time when player of the year awards were presented to footballers on the touchline after the pre-match warm-up. The winner was intercepted by the club photographer as he jogged back down towards the tunnel. There was a handshake and a picture and it was over in 30 seconds. These days you have to put on a bow tie and fly to Zurich to find out that you’ve finished third behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

You know that RM and MUFC are the most hyped clubs(in some level this applies to Barca also) when you realize that their titles count more in Bd'Or than UEFA Euro and FIFA WC...

2008, Spain wins Euro, Ronaldo gets recognition (it could've been Torres)
2013, Bayern wins treble, Ronaldo gets recognition (it could've been Ribery)
2014, Germany wins WC, Ronaldo gets recognition (it could've been Neuer)

He deserved a Bd'Or, not three...

2010 - it could've been Iniesta or Xavi
2012 - Iniesta or Xavi

Messi robbed his teammates, unlike someone else. :P

Includes a 6 minute video of Lev Yashin. Looks uncanny familiar.
