I think Carrasco is decent but buying him for €100m and selling Costa for even €50m at a net spend of €50m still is a fail IMO

Says who?
You who thoroughly examined both players and watched 30+ games each this season?

His style fits perfect, his age as well, he possesses the know how of being competitive playing for Cholo's Atletico and that's a huge advantage coming to a club like Bayern. In the other hand I find him as a very inconsistent footballer having glimpses of brilliance into the game and then becoming a ghost, more flashy than decisive, more a dribbler than a good decision maker, I don't like that.

Of course he would be welcomed fpr a reasonable price, he has some room for improvement and I think that Atletico's style doesn't boost his skillset to the maximum of his potential unlike winger-Bayern which makes many wingers look even better than they actually are, granted that I'd preferred breaking the bank for Hazard rather anyone else. Carrasco won't come cheap either.

Gosh, that Robbery replacement combined with MGT transfer policy will hunt us like forever, it's already a nightmare and they are still playing, imagine when they will retire officially from Die Rotten... their legacy will tear down their successors.

If we want winger with creativity and with a great % success in duel .... He is the last we should take.

We would see his lack of intelligence and cleaverness in decision making quickly.

Seriously, everything show he missed a lot of thing to be a great winger in a team like Bayern (or Barcelona, or Madrid ..). The first thing I see about Carrasco is his hardwork. And hardwork isn't enough. That's why he could look good in Atletico.

And you can find many comp' on him where he is like that ... losing almost every duels, every take on, many passes ...
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

We shouldn't even think about this transfer for one second. Atletico have a transfer ban for the next two transfer windows and they will NOT sell any important players like Carrasco. Period. He just signed a contract extension last October until 2022. He has a reported 100 million Euro clause but no team in Europe would spent that amount on Carrasco. Bayern will probably not spent 100 million any time soon and definitely not on a player like Carrasco. He's a good player but not a world class player.

There are more realistic option out there then Carrasco.

We bid €50M for Carrasco. I would be fine with that, but it makes no sense.
Are we hoping they will lift Atleti's transfer ban or does the media just like to forget stuff :-s

Anyways, it's L'Equipe so I guess we can take this seriously. :-({|=

l took them serious on Tolisso, since their reporter was close to Lyon, but this is a very different case. also this news is pretty old, it's said that we offered 50 m euros for him weeks ago.

btw, l'd go for Lemar instead of him.
