It sounds like all he's saying is that he wants to got to an "FCB" IF he leaves, and I don't think Barca will be a dominant force in 5-6 years.

Oh I don't mind that, I mean, who doesn't want to join Barca these days. What I am worried about however is how colossal of an idiot one must be to time such a statement a week after agreeing to a transfer.

You are so right. He has two bad things, his size and his brain.
He will have injuries because of his muscles, and will do idiot things because of his low IQ.

He did join Bayern. There must be some quality gray matter in there somewhere.

Come on guys... Don't be too harsh on him... Every kid, most of them at least, dream of playing for Barca nowadays!

We don't even know if that's a serious interview with him, or maybe he has only said something as a joke... All in all, we can't expect a player who has not played a single minute for Bayern to feel much self-identification with our club.... He'll come here and learn the virtues of our club... the stadium and the fans... the philosophy and the brilliance of the club... and hopefully, he'll become a Bayern faithful for many years to come....

You know... Not everyone is born with Bayern's love in his blood, as die-hard fans like us are.... He must come first, and then he'll gradually grow to love the club....

The advantage of extending his contract (OFC IMO ) that we can sell him next summer and use the money to bid for Goetze

I have a funny feeling of where he will be placed in our team. He has played more of a right midfielder on a 4-4-2 so he can easily play behind Robben and switch Bastian to the left. Short story I don't think there is a rush to sell any of our attackers and we may have gotten a pretty decent back up/companion for Schewini rather than a replacement for Robben...

Another Ballack type of player , hahah he's poor if he thinks that he'll be a starter at Bayern , you're just a back-up for king kroos and Thomas Mueller

At least Shaqiri is honest from the begining, not a type of guy like Ballack who untill end of his contract was playing with entire club and german public.

I have NP with that, we buy in 9M , he plays 2-3 seasons for us, then we sell in 30M+.

Exactly armburst. But I have a feeling he will stay through his prime. If not hes a cash cow.
