Lol yeah it was probably unwarranted but I was so sure, like really sure, that we will see Werner in one of those clubs when I saw Stuttgart relegated. And now the boards of these clubs will continue to complain about Bayern as they always do, and their fans will rip apart Leipzig even more when they should be firing at their management.

I don't like the idea of Leipzig either but they're the only ones who are trying. A top German talent is in need of a Bundesliga club and none of these clubs came for him, so how could you dare blaming Bayern for saving the best Bundesliga players from their lack of ambition.

I'm not sure I see Werner making the break from being a potential talent into a great player. I've watched Stuttgart plenty of times and there were quite a few players who were doing the job better than him last season. He's got a little potential no doubt, and sure he's 20ish, but to me he seemed to miss a lot of chances and it's not like he's a great dribbler or passer. Didavi, Kostic, Rupp, imo those guys were carrying the offensive burden for Stuttgart.

Anyways several players at relegated are "in need" of a Bundesliga club but they don't always leave because they want to bring their club back up. That the big boys don't spend a ton of money on an unproven player like Werner isn't what proves their lack of ambition in my opinion.

This is an interesting back-up striker.

But the source ...
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

They only say we like him, not we are interested in him.

l'd sign and develop Niang for back up striker. He is wasted at Milan on the left flank.

Niang has all the potential to be a top CF, his wing play is not that bad either. I watched him vs Falcao live and I was impressed more by him than Falcao(I was a Falcao fan). Idk about Werner. I trust Reschke.

Werner is one of the very few upcoming German strikers. He's been having a great season so far, and it wouldn't be a surprise if our interest becomes concrete soon. I think this season, and the one before, has taught us that we do need a third striker in our roster to rotate with Lewa and Muller. A player like Werner would be a great option, and WILL have a lot of playing times due to the usually "normal" Lewandowki and Muller goal droughts.

For his own good he should stay away from Munich.
Most of the Germans who tried their luck by joining bayern failed miserably. Some for a reason others for other reasons.
The ones I remember:
Jansen
Goerlitz
Deisler
Schlaudraff
Baumjohann
Podolski
Goetze

That's because only the best of the best will succeed with us, ask Boateng and Neuer ;) Not only you have to be one of the best German players around, you have to be one of the best in history.

Deisler is a shame though, still pains me thinking back about it.
