Yeah, just no
He had no recollection of that after the game when he was listening to 5 different people to not say anything wrong and then repeating it into twenty and a few microphones...

Don't think that's quite accurate. He was under the impression the foul had been called on Naldo for obstruction, not Fährmann....

But, unless you believe Fährmann for some reason decided to conspire with Werner for God only knows why....he tried to correct things right then and there on the pitch. Or I guess Fährmann could've lied about it multiple times in interviews in order to make Werner look better? Not exactly sure what Fährmann's motivation to lie about it would be.

In whatever case, 99% of players dive, 1% ever own up to it or apologize.....so I'm not sure why Werner is treated so much more harshly for it, when the vast majority of players wouldn't even have the stones to admit to it as he did

I think your numbers are a little high... And also, that the problem is that Werner's was SOOOO obviously a dive that it's ridiculous

he plays for RB and all the people made a case from a dive. I m sure things wont be the same if he was Bayern player. Lets not forget Robben...

Sure, perhaps, but now you're just being nitpicky.

Since you think they are a bit high, I'll let you give me your best estimates:

What percentage of players have NEVER dove once in their careers?

What percentage of players who have dove have EVER owned up to it and apologized for it? What percentage have went to the player that supposedly fouled them and the referee and said "he didn't touch me"?

Well, depends on what you call diving... What Vidal did in that posted video was extremely unfair - but IMHO not a dive...

Timo just had a good dive but the VAR came in very handy.

Shit defending, but great perseverance nonetheless...

And that wasn't a dive IMHO either...

love him or hate him Werner would be a statement buy in a climate, where every European powerhouse want to have a wunderkind and with his hype, he would do just that
