Appreciate Thiago commitment to this club. But lets not forget Bayern did a lot for him when he was injured probably this been a factor when he took this decision.
Hopefully we will see other face of Thiago in future UCL games or big game.

That sounds like a club player. Not someone who says 'I want to win UCL' but someone who wants to win it with THIS team.

Beats the hell out of that post someone wrote about him being distracted against Madrid. I was at the game and the first thing he did on the pitch was come in and rally the crowds. How someone can post such crap is still beyond me.

Fake fans showing their true colors in my opinion, I don't know how anyone can doubt Thiago's commitment on the pitch after watching him play smh.....

Some still see him as a Barcelona sleeper agent, but he's proven that his heart lies in Munich... bravo, looking forward to the next years with him running the midfield =D>

Well... Don't get me wrong... I think I've shown many times I'm not biased towards him... Just that, and I've said this before, I think we miss something on the mental side... As a team... Don't know really what it is, but I think it's clearly there... I stumbled upon some Barcelona vid of the 2013 game in Munich a few days ago... You could see more than in the TV vids... The way we were celebrating those goals... The adrenaline, the whole panache - I think some of it got lost (which is not to say that we're not in it to win it - just that for them back then losing was not an option, actually, conceding was not an option!)

BUT: that statement of his, that one really gives me hope!

So basically Schweini part 2 :P
He'd be gone in 2018 if we win the CL next season, let that sink in :P :P :P

Actually I don't think they were talking about you, personally I wouldn't think about you either in terms of being Thiago-hating idiots, but I like that you went all self-reflective about it :p

He was playing against Juve when the team already equalised and they lost their composure. It would have been very difficoult for him if he played from the start. I think he would have been shut down just like in Bernabeu. Müller was cut off too, but still he scored a header, you can't expect that from Thiago. And I don't think he is a central midfielder we need to beat spanish teams. His creativity is world class, agreed, but everything else isn't, especially protection of the ball and defensive woork. So in big games he gets exposed, like in Madrid. Thiago is no Veratti or Pirlo at keeping the ball or he would have show it by now. I think his best place is still in advanced role.

Defensive work?! Did you check his numbers from this season? Often better than "defensive monster" Vidal...
