Now with all the heat one gets here for "pissing people off" with a mere reasonable opinion, those insults are fly here?

That's all the tragedy of this forum, someone initiates a crappy debate, and the reactions spread like wildfire.

It's somewhat discouraging when I see a whole page of alternating "this person is on your ignore list - show spoiler?" I ask what that says about myself and start thinning the ignore list. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

Then I start rebuilding the Great Wall all over again.

Hurrah!!! :)

Edit: nothing unexpected, but it's nice that he goes out and says it publicly.

Nice hearing it from someone who wanted his son back at Barça. Respect.

Got to love the guy, he's one of our most committed players. Right behind Müller, Ribsy and Lahm probably.

Did great today, but he's clearly not a midfielder that will carry the team. We need another world class payer next to him from next season. Only Vidal isn't enough.

Tough for him... Vidal was CLEARLY over the top in both games... But I feel he is criticized to much when things get tough and praised too much when things go smooth... He needs to step up, yes, but in neither of both ganes we had mire than 50,60% of our squad play in top form...

First thing, he was not really bad last night. He was consistent with the team's form. Nothing flashy, yet did nothing wrong. Neither was Kroos/Modric for them, and people are praising them for excellent performances. He did just as well as they did.

Again, Thiago suffers from our tactical setup. With both Muller and Lewa on the field, he thrives in midfield. He defends, controls the tempo, and sends in great passes into the box. With only one striker (completely defended) and against a tough counter-attacking team as Real, he cannot do what he normally does in the hole behind the striker. He might have played a lot of good games as a "10", but he's a central midfielder by trade. A great one in that.

It was funny reading all the criticism yesterday and seing that while on the pitch the team took control of the game while Carletto moved him to the left midfield to replace Vidal on the second half.
