I'm neutral about Thiago, I mean if he leaves I won't cry a river I'm sure we can find an equal replacement such as Pjanic for example.
In the other hand if he stays I'd be happy, you can't question that he is a talented player technically gifted with great vision.
His mentality on the pitch though and consistency is questionable.

Now about his possible departure, I find Thiago quite passionate about being in Munich as a foreign player with only 3 seasons at Bayern he looks very into to our team, even when he fails miserably he tries and outside the pitch or bench he gives everything to support the team, I can't lie about this I like these things, I suppose every fan admires that. He said that "Pep leaves but I'm staying, I extended because I like it here and not because Pep" I think THAT'S what we should believe not rumours... Every paper and every fan except us thinks that Guardiola and Thiago is a duo, that's clearly not the case. Yes! Guardiola asked his transfer straight ahead but that doesn't mean whenever Pep changes teams Thiago will run behind him. If Bayern wouldn't extended his contract Thiago might be a goner but that's not the case. He stays!

As much I want top German players to play for Bayern, Thiago v Gotze = Thiago by far
There is definetely no need to consider Thiago's sale, his comeback was tremendous after such an injury unlike Gotze unfortunately.
About the recent "attacks" on Thiago, people you over exaggerating, yes in the last months he looked like sh!t but in the first half of the season he thrived, Alaba also looked bad in the second half of the season should we crucify him too? What about Muller, pretty bad too.

This, exactly! I think it was against Dortmund in the Hinrunde when he blocked a shot that would've been a certain BVB goal, and celebrated like he just scored a goal himself. The guy is passionate and determined, not to mention an absolute team player when he's on and off the pitch. That combined with his creativity (when he's in form, like he was vs Arsenal at home for example), I wouldn't sell him for anyone!

It's a good thing all these rumours are bullshit and all this discussion is pointless, otherwise I'd actually be worried about losing the best technical player Bayern's ever had. :|

I just think it means: "See you after the summer break!" ("im going on vacation now")

You cant say: "Thank you for a great season, see you in the coming seasons"

:P :D

Are you talking about the real Coman or the user here? :P :D

Well, I assume it means he's staying for at least one more year (how long is his contract running? 2018?)... Doesn't make sense to talk about later years now - a lot can happen in this sport...

Looks to me like that means he's staying. I'm glad. I like Thiago. He is brilliant and immensely talented. Maybe he'll get back into form under Ancelotti. He really didn't do much after he scored that goal against Juventus.
