Be happy while it lasts cause these things come in cycles, its inevitable that Bayern will not be on top forever so lets try to soak up this team as much as possible :D

ma è il Bayern Monaco di Pep Guardiola a essere davanti a tutti nella corsa dell'ultimo minuto. Un altro smacco al nostro modo di fare calcio, soprattutto di fare mercato.

however it seems that FCB are leading the race for his signiture... :D

This rumour seems to be popular at the moment. I don't think it makes sense to buy him but it wouldn't surprise me if it's true.

Thiago wants playing time for a guaranteed WC team spot. It'd be weird and awesome if he signs for us.
It has always been mentioned at many places that he's a favourite student of Pep.
I guess that'll mean loans for Hojbjerg and may be Can too. I don't mind it a bit.
Let's go snap him up.

Why wouldn't it make sense? Isn't our goal for next season to have an all-Bayern CL final :dante: ?

The clause, which was insisted upon by the player's agent (Pep Guardiola's brother Pere) after talks with Thiago and his father, Brazilian World Cup winner Mazinho, stated that the midfielder must feature for 30 minutes or more in 60 per cent of Barcelona's matches last term. And although he did play in exactly 60% of games (Thiago featured in 36 club fixtures in 2012-13, out of a possible 60) and average well over half an hour per match (with 1904 minutes in total), he failed to complete the required amount in 15 of the 36 matches. [source]

I can't stop laughing at Barca's idiocy. They should have subbed him out after 30mins every time.
And Pere is his agent too. I had no idea. Nice deal. Bring Pep and Pere comes for free.

It seems, from the above, that Barca wanted to follow the contract but failed in the understanding of the terms. They got the first term right (60% of games), but they clearly misunderstood the next (30 minutes per each individual game and not as an overall average).

We already have Ribery, Shaqiri, Goetze, Kroos, Mueller, Robben and Weiser for the attacking midfield positions. If worst comes to worst, we have Alaba, Hojbjerg, Schweinsteiger, Pizarro and Rafinha who have all played in attacking midfield positions at some point last season. As good as this transfer sounds, we don't need more attacking midfielders in the squad.

Exactly. The only way this transfer would make any sense is if Kroos' injury suddenly came back as bad as Holger's. And even then it's a stretch.
