he has improved dramatically and is also scoring...
Last time I read that Barca wants him and Feghouli from Valencia

Mustafi? Meh... I don't see him as a great player... Then again, Boateng was not of the best defenders when he arrived here, too...

I think it's important to keep the 'German' essence of Bayerns' players strong, Mustafi has improved dramatically & even though he is essentially a CB, I believe he is also comfortable at RB. He's improved 10 fold, & is also scoring goals. I think him & Boateng would develop a strong partnership at the back, & it is honestly a partnership i'd like to see.

Should it ever happen, i'd imagine he'll cost us around £12 - £20m, but at only 23 it offers the possibility of a long term player.

Because you don't know a player doesn't mean he's shit... He wasn't called up for Germany for no reason. :P

Who are you talking to? Me?
I know him... ;)
I'm not just a Bayern fan, you know... And I think he was the worst player in the WC - and not among the better ones if you include other teams ;)

Saying he's was the best or worst won't change anything... but see who's after him today? Top clubs. Loew isn't the best coach but he wouldn't be running Germany for that long if he was that shit as some say he is.

And yeah, he was like the most unknown player to play for Germany that means he was shit.
Oh I know the theory, Loew got lucky cause Mustafi got injured BS.

Nah it's true ;)
And it's not a theory ;)
He was shit because he didn't play good... But he was played out of position in a few games (RB)... Same thing happened with Boateng way back, and he made a stunning development ever since he came here - I also mentioned that... And also, Mustafi was/is still very young... Doesn't change the fact that he did NOT play a good WC - but things can change... Doesn't change the fact either, that Boa prob would've never played CB hadn't he got injured... And Lahm would have remained a midfielder... The two dominating players in the final were who again now? Right, Boateng and Schweinsteiger... ;)

I know, however, that he has improved - but enough to help us? I don't know...

And the fact that Löw is still coach is also due to the fact that there are few - if any - alternatives ;)

mustafi was shit in the world cup, it isnt up for debate. fact is he wasnt shit before that there was a reason he was in the squad and since then hes actually been very very good. i think it would be an excellent signing to supplement our defence
