Better than Xabi Alonso.

But not overprotected by Ancelotti.

It's a massive win win for Bayern. It would be like having a 31 years old Alonso on the bench all season. 8)

Stuttgart's sports director Michael Reschke responds to rumours that the club are interested Sebastian Rudy: "No speculation. Basically, it's hard to get players from Bayern." [Kicker]

According to BILD, Schalke are interested in signing Sebastian Rudy on loan. A contact has already been made. Also Stuttgart have Rudy in their sights, they want to bring him back.

Id say sell him. I'd rather give younger players the opportunity to get his minutes to develop.

I think Schalke would be good choice for him - back in the Champions League as Goretzka and Meyer will be gone. Tedesco is a good coach.

Schalke would be a good destination. But I can't see how a loan deal would benefit Bayern

That's my thinking. I think we have a pretty clear picture of Rudy's ceiling. Not like he's going to go to Schalke and develop for a season and get better and come back as a Bayern starter.
Unless it's a loan with an obligation to buy at the end I don't see why we'd bother with that

According to Kicker, Christian Heidel had exchanged views with Hasan Salihamidžić over the idea of loaning Sebastian Rudy. At Bayern they are currently smiling at them tiredly, and even the player himself does not seem to be particularly interested.

I'd rather give the final spot to Renato and will try him as an destroyer, there is a loot or time to learn for him, instead of playing Rudy, who is choking even against mid table teams.

Loaning out a 28 year old player to Schalke? What are we, charity?

If they pay us Goretzka's sign-on fee and pay Rudy's salary, I would loan him to them for 1 season :)

Renato is an attacking midfielder by nature, not a destroyer. Playing him in Alonso's spot was Ancelotti's great mistake regarding Renato.

With the likes of Thiago, James he is not going to play a single game for us as AM.
