Twitter per: FCBayernUpdate

According to "Focus" sources, Bayern have offered Lewandowski over 6 million Euros per year.

Why does this matter they are not letting him go. So dont know why this story still has life.

Robert Lewandowski

At some point they have to start spending real money if they want Their manager to stick around and if they want their good players to stick around. (I know not a ground breaking comment) I think Lewandowski re signs with them for real money as a signal for others to stay and new folks to come.

Of their top players, only Subotic and Lewandowsi have short term contracts.

A bit off-topic, but as long as they don't lose their minds and sell all their stars at once, Dortmund won't be in trouble. They still can't keep hold of all their stars, but they're being very smart in the transfer market.

For example, last year they sold Sahin, and replaced him by Gundogan, who is also a very good player. They might have lost a bit of quality but they remained strong, had an even better season, and also strengthened their finances. Now they have indirectly traded off Kagawa for Reus, and while Kagawa was a crucial player I think this will make them better because Gotze will play in the centre and Reus is world-class.

In the same way that Bayern should be an idol for all other top teams, in the way they run the club and their finances, Dortmund should be an idol for all those mid-table teams aspiring to become top teams. Sure, it's a much slower process than the Man City or Chelsea route, but it's more sustainable.

isn't he best friends with Gotze? I recall Gotze saying he wouldn't leave without him, could be wrong.

He would be an idiot if he leaves. All the top Premier League clubs are already set in the striker position.

Actually Man C play a sort of semi-4-2-2-2, so they do need the backups. As many backups as they have? No. But they still do need backups.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

It might work in his favor to step up to a big club -- he seems the sort to fit into the english league. Although, since dortmund are in the CL, and he is a starter for them, then staying would be best for him and not Bayern.
