3 million euros is a very good bargain. If we had him, he'd be playing in Schweini's role right now and probably doing a good job as well.

The problem is of course that Schweini will be fit by the start of the transfer window. Looks like he's going to Milan (good for them, by the way, they really need some fresh blood in the midfield).

I think his agent dismissed Milan rumours recently. Then again he will be a free agent this summer and it's very likely that they'll get him

Now i just read on one croatian forum about Juventus' interest in Montolivo. This is not a good news for Bayern. We are still cold and we can't wait. Our board need to decide are we going to keep Tymo or we should look for other solutions. In January he can freely negotiate with all clubs, including Juventus who got real chances for comeback on Serie A top and build a great team under his legend Conte. :|

According to Alberto Pastorella of Tuttosport, "Montolivo has already expressed his satisfaction in wearing the Milan shirt. The fact that in January he will not move from Fiorentina shows how he has an agreement with the club AC Milan in June."

That seems like a high amount considering he's running out of contract.

This is one player we should do everything we can to bring to Munich, but I believe he already knows he's going to Milan

Montolivo is great player, I would like him very much wearing Bayern shirt. But it sounds too good to be true. More likely he will end up with AC Milan or Juve. Our board is hybernating for many years. They are absolutely useless.

Galliani is cheap ****

Not paying 3/4 million to get him now (with our injury issues) but saving it for free in the summer

Your club is already suffering financial losses as it is.

With the advent of Financial Fair Play you have to stop with your expectations of having some sugardaddy (Berlusconi or Galliani) splashing out cash from their pockets or spending money to buy players they can't afford.

Your wages are already very high, your player roster is HUGE (AC Milan have 29 outfield players compared to Bayern's 18) and there's no way you will make a profit this year. If Galliani stops being a cheap ****, then AC Milan stops participating in UEFA competitions, due to not following the FFP rules. I guess your heart should know what you prefer.

I dont get how people say Montollivo is great. Do people watch him??? Sure he was good but he was been average this season for both his club & Italy.

Anyways as Mutu said Milan's policy is flawed & wage budget is absurdly high. Ibra's salary is sick. I could understand that now they want another such guy like Tevez, another absurd salary. I am sure Robinho & Pato get a ridiculously high salary. if you look at it Milan are spending 25 Million+ on Salary of ST's while Bayern is not even spending 10 Million.

Decrease you wage budget,go furthur in CHL & increase your transfer amount. Youth academy & getting young players barely exists in Milan. Not a great future IMO

Milan has not as much financial loses as it is believed, and the team earns a lot of money every year because it is one of the most known clubs of the world.
Real problems will have clubs like City, PSG, Chelsea etc.

The figures I have from May 2011 is that AC Milan posted losses of €10.52m.
Assuming everything is the same (which it isn't, obviously), getting Montolivo now would cost them some 6 million euros until the end of the season (3 million to buy, and some 3 million in wages). Where will they recoup the money to post a profit?
