Ricardo Rodríguez

Postby Element » Thu Aug 25, 2011 11:13 am

Just Read that Uli Hoeness was asking about Zuerichs LB Ricardo Rodríguez

he was born in 1992 , yet he is talented and it is said that he did good vs Bayern

Schweinsteiger said about him " he is a Very good player , with a very very good left foot , He has the potential to play in higher classes"

Uli Hoeness said " I know FC Zuerich Sports Director Freddy Bickel for a long time now , and he has told me about this player "

then he added " There are many interesting young players in Switzerland ,We Also Constantly Keep an Eye on Shaqiri, And if one day we are in need , we are going to remember them"

Didn't we already have a thread about him already? Where we also concluded that it'd be the most pointless signing possible?

Well maybe it wasn't just a rumor inspired because of our game against Zurich, but still, we already have a young LB talent in Contento, and we also have Boateng to play as LB

We have one of the best Fullbacks ever as LB

and a youngster as Back up

so signing a new LB is the most pointless signing we can make

Not only that but "one the the best Fullbacks ever" is also one of the least injury prone players ever and who is almost never suspended. Hope I don't jinx him now

That is a great reason to prepare a player with enough time to take his place in the long term, tomorrow it is his birthday, he will be 28 y.o.and this guy is 19 y.o.so we can consider a a couple of years to give Lahm some rest and get ready for the starting spot. Contento should be loaned for a couple of season to get playing time and show that he could have a role in this squad.
