I don't understand how this could be happening when we can't talk to the player at this point in time???

Your right but were probably talking to Wolfsburg and his representatives to work out the transfer fee and other details.

I would love this transfer, but IDK why everyone is giving up on Bernat. He is like 22 years old. He was soooo good last year, and has been pretty good this season. I think that he will have a role under Ancolotti

Whut?!?

Bernat is only ONE year younger than Rodriguez, watch them closely, check their bio and then do the math :!:

Moreover if we buy Rodriguez who said that Bernat is going to be sold? Maybe we keep them both for example so Alaba becomes a permanent midfielder, so you get a world class young LB (Rodriguez) while having a decent back up(Bernat) and something like a internal transfer hopefully he becomes a world class midfielder (Alaba) You never know

6-7 months to be more precise. They're basically the same age. Rodríguez was born on 25th August, Bernat the following 1st March.

Maybe we can use Bernat as part of the deal to bring Rodriguez. Bernat is good enough to start for the this Wolfsburg team, so it would be a good deal for all sides involved.

I think Rodriguez has lots of potential, but for some reason he hasn't been playing well this season.

Yeah, hard to see Bernat staying now. There is just too much competition. But Rodriguez is a seriously good upgrade. I'd love the transfer.

Bayern wont include him, Alaba are going to be a mid and rodriguez starting LB, Bernat will have same role.

Wolfsburg lost a lot of quality when KdB left no surprise the whole team suffered for it....

Not only KdB but also Perisic, and they have tons of injured players as well.

They also lack a reliable striker, but we are off topic.

RR and Bernat can compete for the LB spot. It would be nice having both for the position.

That will change when he starts wearing Bayern shirt. 8)

I can't describe how happy I am with this transfer deal. We will sign 2nd-3rd best LB in the world while Alaba will get his place in midfield/wings.

The only thing that must be prevented is Alaba on CB position. That would be a pure waste of Alaba's class.
