If we get RR we really are spoiled for options in one of the most difficult positions to fill in.

At the other hand, we need to start thinking a bit more about the RB position. Lahm is on his last legs there.

RR is the best LB after Alaba. I think Carlo can turn David into a midfield star, just like he did with Di Maria.

David is already a midfield star. The 1-0 against Manchester City was pure class performance from Alaba. 8)

I read somewhere that Wolfsburg are looking at Hector (who apparently has a release clause of 18 M) to replace Rodriguez. Good piece of business for everyone involved I would say.
Bayern pay 30 for RR to Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg pay 15-18 for Hector to Køln

Real Madrid could use Borja Mayoral as bait to sign Arsenal target Ricardo Rodriguez [source]

According to some reports he expressed the wish to leave...

I originally thought Dortmund should have signed him, but seems Guerreiro is a huge talent, so maybe they did the right thing. Doesn't make much sense for RR to stay at Wolfsburg, they don't have any ambition. Shouldn't have sold KdB and should have sought to get a few more WC players. Selling KdB immediately meant the exit of Perisic and will probably mean the exit of RR.
