YlonenXabi wrote:Real did it with Morata and Carvajal but those were their own youth products plus they were not big transfers, I don't know how much did Juve pay for Morata, but he was quite cheap. Same with Neverkusen

With Sanches it's different IMO

If any club spends 40+ on a player, they expect him to be very good. And if he becomes a very good player they will mostly lose him so it's not a good business even if they get a profit on it.

And it would be funny if we buy him back and fails again

Real's strategy about Carvajal, Morata and Casemiro was great. since Leverkusen, Juve and Porto developed their talents for themselves. l hope we follow the same path about our young kids soon.

The first should be Dorsch. Spending 1 year with Walter would be useful for him, then he needs a team who can develop him further. if City had signed Ünder, their plan was loaning him to Freiburg. City now discovered Freiburg too. Our own teams should develop our talents, not English or Spanish team's talents.

yep... i fear he is not meant for a future with Bayern. there are a lot of good/great midfield options out there who are not much older than he is. if someone offered to swap him with Goretzka, i would certainly do it without a second thought.

Bayern Munich ready to sell Renato Sanches: Man Utd and Juventus interested [source]

Bayern have confirmed AC Milan's interest while Manchester United and Juventus are also reportedly tracking the talented teenager.

But Rummenigge doesn't believe Milan can match their asking price, opening the door for other clubs to make an offer.

As time goes on I'm not exactly sure why we signed him originally. Don't get me wrong, I was extremely excited, I'm just not sure why I was. Watching him go shoulder to shoulder with grown men and bully them off the ball was exciting but apart from his physicality I don't really remember much more I was impressed by. I think I was just super happy we snaked another player away from United. He's a great player, he just doesn't fit what a precise passing and possession based team needs in a midfielder

I don't know, I still think we are being a bit harsh on Renato. He was absolutely dominant at the Euros. I think selling him now would be a bit shortsighted. We already saw last season Carlo didn't manage any of the youngsters well, Sanches included. I think if Nagelsmann were to join us in 2018 or 19 it would be worth giving Sanches a shot under him.

I was against getting rid of Sanches but after watching Tolisso play and the thought of adding Goretzka with him, I am fine now selling him.

Sanches has potential but will he ever reach it with Bayern? He needs playing time but can't get that time here he's just too reckless and sloppy when he does get on the field.

Tolisso and Goretzka are 2 1/2 years older and both are light years ahead of him.

So I hope it works out for Sanches but I am much more excited with Tolisso and Goretzka as our future

People keep talking about the Euros, like he tore out trees in that tournament.
Sorry, but he didn't. He played surprisingly well for a 18 year old, but we've had plenty of that in history.
