Apart from the irony of your statement ;) ...

If Coman (20) scores 1 Champions League goal in the next 3 years, he will have scored as much as a 23 year old Dybala has. And that's not even fair given that Dybala is a more offensive player. In fact, Coman assisted 6 Champions League goals, and Dybala has assisted a total of... *drum roll*... 0!

Lol. Never seen it that way. Dybala seems to have some really underwhelming end product.

And the end product is just about the only relevant thing about a striker. It's what separates the Gome.... erm... giants from the ants.

HAHAHAHAHAHA...

Well, Dybala is more of a SS type... Maybe a young Müller or even Griezmann would be a better comparison.

No comparison. Müller scored on his Champions League debut. An older Dybala needed 7 matches.

Another fun stat: this season Joshua Kimmich (22) has scored and assisted as many CL goals as Dybala (23) has in his entire career.

Failing to score? Who cares about his tricks if he can't play the final ball or finish his chance? Now if he was, say, a central midfielder, that would be acceptable, but not from someone who's job is solely to score and assist and he simply can't do that frequently enough.

And I see him as a 23 year old striker who scored 3 goals in the Champions League in his career and this season he's only scored 8 goals in Italy. That's as many league goals as a wider, less-offensive player like Robben scored in fewer matches in a superior league. So again, what's the fuss? When he starts scoring a lot of goals often, then I will consider regarding him as a good player, until then I want a forward who can either score or assist (preferably both), but Dybala's statistics are too poor to be considered good by my books.

Fun fact: goalimpact also rates Dybula rather poorly:

Can't see tweet? Click here!

My random suspicion* about this is that Dybula defaults to dribbling when he shouldn’t, doesn’t have the vision to pick out good passes, and doesn’t have the tactical awareness to position himself well. All of those problems could theoretically be averted if we fit Dybula into a simple, defined role that’s within his abilities, like Guardiola did with Douglas Costa(more or less “beat your man and send in the cross”), but it probably wouldn’t be worth it.

*In the sense that I haven't really watched Dybula play but it's true for most players that are hyped yet rated poorly by goalimpact.

By the time the end of the 2012/2013 season, when he was still just 23, Muller had 16 champions league goals and 11 assists.

It's also worth noting he plays in Italy. Juve are so obviously superior to everyone (much more than us) and almost every other team is so bad that shining in the Serie A really doesn't mean anything anymore if you play for Juve.

He's a good to great player, but Juve will only sell for silly money, Pogba level, and we don't do that.

Bayern could want dybala, however, I doubt Dybala wanted to come to Bayern.

ITaly and Serie A I can understand due to his background, but this kid is going to either madrid or barcelona. No point thinking that he would come to Germany
