That's not it though... He has 4 years left on his contract... They're not gonna let him go too soon - and if they do, he'll have more lucrative offers, maybe even from better clubs...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Its easy, after they loose one or two Bundesliga, they will spend big money. If Dortmund continue to buy great young players and play smart they will probably have window of 2-3 years for big things.

First contact made between Dembele and Barcelona has been made. Dortmund wants 90 million Euro for the transfer.

Well, Dembele or Verratti. Barca can't have both this year.

This. Barca don't need replacements on their attack (yet.) They do, however need someone who can control the midfield, Rakitic hasn't played like he used to and Iniesta is past his prime. Granted I wouldnt be disappointed it they failed to get either

as if PSG will let Verratti go. What makes you think they can manage to sign Verratti? until now, they failed to sign Silva and Marquinhos from PSG in the past, also they failed to sign Verratti last year, after PSG rejected their offer, They signed Gomes instead him.Like l said before, he is at the center of PSG project, if they sell him, it will destroy their project and will make them a selling club. so they won't have the chance to keep their stars anymore.

Barca has 70 m euros transfer budget+sales according to sources which close to Barca. yet, they need a RB, back up CB, Winger and CM.

He would be a "granate". Signing him would be too much bad PR though.

Or too expensive...

Screw PR, we also wanted him, it's not like they discovered him...

I mean, it sounds like we probably would've ended up with him if not for Reschke contacting the wrong agent FFS.

I'd love to see him here - right at the top of my wish list - but sadly I think his heart is set on a Barca move and even if he signed with us he'd try to move as soon as he saw an opening.

I don't buy the wrong agent rumours. Let's map out how it could've gone down:

Wrong agent: Hello?
Reschke: Hi, this is Michael Reschke from FC Bayern. I would like to talk to you about your client Dembele...
Wrong agent: Let me cut you short: he's no longer my client.
Reschke: Oh, do you happen to know who his new client is?
Wrong agent: Yes, I do. Let me SMS you his number.
Reschke: OK cheers! Bye.

Yep, like Thiago. Some member were saying he wouldn't renew with Bayern and move to them this summer just because he wanted Barca at all costs? According to ED, Everyone wants Barca. #-o Did you know that according to them Kimmich's idol is Xavi and wants to follow his footsteps at Barca? not Basti like we know. When a player's or a coach's opinion is asked about a team, they always say good things. l remember Mourinho's interview once, he praised a midtable club. it was clear he didn't know anything about them.

if he stays this summer, l'm sure we will go to replace Robben with him in 2018.

still wrong agent accusation? When it comes to young talents, BVB is the best team who can develop them. as if he will accept 4th/5th choice winger at Bayern instead of developing with a starter place at BVB.

Reschke talked with the wrong agent for weeks but the guy didn't tell him he is not his agent for weeks. it looks logical even if this theory is true?

Rather let them join our international competition?
Good idea.

No.He should stay at BVB.Lack of serious competition is bad not only for the league but also for Bayern themselves. No one enjoys the same team winning the league over and over again.Outside Germany, it is a rarity for rival clubs to buy players from each other. As much as i hate to say this It is no surprise that the English Premier League is the most followed league, with almost five or six teams vying for the top spot. If there is something the Germans can learn from the English league it is that better competion can only be better for the league and attract a larger following.
