You can't turn your back on Robben who accepted a pay cut and refused big money from MUFC, he's in love with this place.

If Robben keeps missing 30 games a year, I'd rather not extend his contract.
Same goes for Ribéry. Doubt they'd take huge pay cuts either.

I think both are willing to take huge pay cuts actually. They geniunely seem to enjoy life in Munich and their families are well settled.

They're also realistic about their roles and both seem willing to take a more mentor/supersub role in the team. Theyve never come across as moneyhungry either.

Robben is the most ambitious player i've ever seen.
As if he'd take a supersub role.
Ribéry would be more likely.

Most guys of their calibre even at the ends of their respective careers want to play still its hard to take a step back. Robben last time before his injury was publicly talking about how he wants to start every game to get into a rythym. How Ribery has been talking for the last while he seems more inclined to accept a mentorship role

No disrespect to LCFC but I would be pissed if we lost him to Leicester

If Leicester put in a 16 million bid then we need to put in a 32 million bid. Cannot be losing out on players to small time, tin pot clubs.

More importantly than the money, we need to show Dembele that we have a spot and long term plan for him while playing him a lot immediately. If Leicester win the BPL, then they will have money to spend, not to mention the TV deal. I think that 16 Million is to low for them to bid. Who ever gets him will have to pay a decent amount.

ENNES: DEMBELE OBIETTIVO JUVENTUS

Can't see tweet? Click here!

According to L'Equipe, Ousmane Dembélé has a release clause of €5M.
Also, the reports about a €35M offer from Barca, were false according to the french newspaper.

Now Rennes will do everything they can to renew his contract and get rid of this ridiculous buyout clause, it certainly will be the saga of the next summer window transfer.

If Juve is there then surely there must be truth to the 5M release clause. Go away Juve... They'd buy him and sell him in 2-3 years.
