PSG seek big names to build a reputation, it's not in their strategy to recruit young players and make them progress. That may be changing after Coman's breakthrough with Bayern, but for now, I don't see PSG competing with us for Dembélé.

The summer didn't even start yet.

But high profile transfers are usually dealt with in springtime...
PSG have an edge - they're closer to home...

Yeah, I also see PSG our main competitor to sign this guy. They probably need a winger more than we do, and they can splash more cash to get him. Plus, they have the Paris appeal which seems to be good enough to lure French talents. If PSG dosen't go to war over him, I think we have the highest chance to get the guy for a good deal.

The idea may seem attractive and plausible, but there is zero interest from PSG towards Dembélé. I mean zero. All serious newspapers in France report that Paris is only focused on Neymar as the n°1 option and CR7 as the n°2 option. Dembélé was never in the conversation.

Well, let's hope we get him then... Everybody is covinced (I heard no one saying anything negative about him...), if Reschke is, why not spend a little more in a promise for the future for once?!

The fact that all French who came to Bayern all blossomed is enough.
Plus he will run the wings with another French man... Not to forget Ribery too

Kind of strange that PSG isn't trying to build a more French core of the team. I'd expect that part of their long term strategy is to develop self sustainability by becoming the main hub for French talent and therefore attract massive advertising from French and Parisian companies, a.k.a the French version of Bayern, or what Juventus have also been for years in Italy in regards to local talent if not financing. Given the lack of local competition and the talent boom in France you'd think they can pull it off quite easily. However, Pogba aside, their name hasn't been mentioned much for other rising French or French-born stars like Griezmann, Benatia, Kante, Mahrez, Dembele etc.

Yet, it seems they have tried to bypass that stage and go straight to attracting global stars, irrespective of nationality. They are correct in sensing that local financing is not enough anymore, as Bayern is finding out as well, and they need to reach a global market. But it seems to me like a team would still benefit from creating an identity that links it to its location. Most of successful teams still try to achieve that whenever they can.

But if Barca would let Neymar go... wouldn't then Barca be interested in this kid? This kid seems really talented... hard to believe that we'll get him without a bidding war... He could be better than Neymar...

Which is why we need to snatch him up quickly before either club turns their heads towards him. A transfer saga like Neymar's is likely to last the whole summer.

So if he signs I wonder if that means that we will not extend with Robben(expires next year)...Coman and Dembele are their replacements possibly!! I'd love it!
Bayern for life, I just want to see at least one game...thats all I ask
