We are on the right path... to become a real FC Hollywood.

With Catalan and Brasileiro to achieve great things.

If Neymar signs for Bayern, then Robben must go, Gomez as well. After Paulo Sergio and Elber I wanted to see another Brasilian in our attack, but I'm not sure that Neymar is the real person. I'm neutral on this issue. :|

I don't hate the guy, but those "#RESPECT <3333 OMG NEYMAR NEW TRICK 2013" guys on social networking sites make it hard to stand him.

I know it was only a friendly but he did bugger all against England which isnt good considering all the possession he was given.

I honestly dont see why we would shell out the money for Neymar when i dont think Falcao would cost anymore and has already proven to be world class.

What the F*ck

Barcelona can sign Neymar for €80m

Barcelona have an agreement with Santos whereby they can sign Neymar for €80m, whereas any other club would have to pay double that figure.

LOL! As if! So the article claims that if PSG offer 155 million euros for Neymar, Santos would be unable to accept?

Possibly (although the amount is too high) 160 millions is his release clause but they included a clause which states that it is only 80 million for Barca. I don't know if that is legal or not, but I think either Favre or Slomka had a similar clause in case Bayern come calling.

These figures are enough to make even the City owners wince.

Im surprised Rudi Voller hasnt pulled this shit on Bayern at least to my knowledge. Santos are gonna get every last cent from Neymar that is possible. Im hoping that Madrid and Barca wont stoop to there level and pay such a ridiculous amount. I would just w8 till Neymar's contract expire and pay €20-€25m which is still too much in my opinion. Cause i bet Neymar's desire to play in Europe trumps his desire to make sure his old club get a huge sum for him.

When release clauses clearly surpass the logical aspect of player transfers (Just two examples from Barcelona: Messi's 300M (USD) or Macherano's 120M (USD) you know Bayern most likely won't enter that race. Javi Martinez buyout clause at 40M was on the limit, maybe a little over but the deal went through only after the player taking a big pay cut in exchange for a longer contract.

Neymar is an outstanding player. I watch the Brazilian League and I can tell you that and being very young he can become one of the top players in the world but he can easily crash out in Europe like some other Brazilian superstars when they move to Europe. His club and his agents strongly believe he will make a mark in WC 2014 and then some big European club will come with the cash.

As some here say a realistic valuation for him could be in the region of 20-25M (maybe 30M for certain big spenders) right now taking some risk. If he succeeds in a major European League he can double his valuation in two years. As today, if I was a coach I wouldn’t take Neymar over Reus, Ozil or our own Muller. For bayern it does not make financial sense or even "footballing" sense to overpay for Neymar.

I just dont see how even after a good world cup any team would be willing to spend €40m for him. Theres a saying that you shouldnt sign someone just based on a International tournament and i feel the same way about Neymar regardless of how he plays i wouldnt pay anywhere near what Santos would be asking.

Yes it is completely legal

Adler had a Manchester United clause in his contract when he was at Leverkusen

Neymar's salary is being afforded by sponsors whereas the club only covers 20% of his total income. This was a last ditch effort to keep him grounded until 2014. I don't think he will make a move before then....
