I think that under pep coach, Kroos could improve to the point where he could turn into " a new xavi"

Neymar costs 70 million, Bayern will never buy him.

About a thousand reasons aside, I think we are through with them "brightest Brazilian prospect" being coveted jointly with Madrid.

I would love for Neymar to replace (the too often injured) Robben on the wing. He will cost a lot sure but his potential to be great is extremely high.... He is a young superstar in the making who can do it all with the ball at his ft. My only concern with him would be his ability to adapt to life outside of his comfort zone (Santos Brazil) and being placed on a much bigger stage to perform against bigger and better all around talent every single game and practice.... these would be the only obstacles this kid will have too worry about.. skills and talent is the lease of my worries.. The bidding war for his signature is going to be unbelievable..

You pretty much stated every reason not to buy him for his asking price :P

^No reason for Bayern to get into that bidding war, but Hoeness did say that once the Allianz Arena was paid off they would open their wallet. We've already spent a nice chunk of change on Martinez and I'm sure Pep didn't come cheap either, so perhaps we're already seeing the beginning of Bayern making some expensive, yet intelligent decisions to better the team.

In my opinion Neymar is an expensive and dumb decision, I don't care how many Brazilian legends like to ride his nuts :P

No offense to anyone but I'm really tired of people comparing Bayern to Barcelona......

This guy could be our Messi, this guy could be our toilet cleaner just like Barcelona had. This guy has the potential to become our Iniesta.

I don't want anyone to become anything. I don't want Neymar to be our "Messi" I want Schweini to be Schweini, and I want Martinez to be Martinez. Everyone including media is putting Barcelona first then us, like we are just a Motherfuc*ing club that is going to turn into them, instead of saying that BAYERN has pep, its Pep will turn them into Barcelona.....

Sorry for the rant but its getting fuc*ing annoying.

I agree 70 million is way to much for a kid who hasn't played with the best of the best yet but based on what he showed the world so far and his overall potential to be great I would say he is worth around 40- 55 million tops .... he is one of the top three best ever players to move up the Santos ranks (Pele, Robinho, Neymar) IMO.
That's not bad company... if we are willing to over pay by at least 15-20 million for yet another mid fielder in Javi Martinez then who's to say we won't gamble on one of the brightest young stars in world futbol at the moment... we have a lot of things in our favor for this move to work out.. Pep is our coach/ We are a top notch club with everything to offer if not more than the other elites around the world/ We are a class organization with a very team/family type of environment which is good for a young player to grow and be comfortable He has a chance to start right away unlike in real Madrid or Chelsea or maybe even Bar a for that matter. .Robbery is aging so there successors need to be found rather sooner than later...in house or abroad... Robben never plays due to injury it seems like and when he does he rarely passes the ball and on top of that he has only 1 go to move that is great but teams are figuring it out and waiting for it when he nears the corner of the box.. I appreciate all he's done but I think its time we sell him and put the profits towards his replacement (Neymar) =D> look at it this way if we could get 20m's for Robben add that to the 40+ plus the kid is really worth at the moment.. thats 60mil tops take it or leave it. Its still a steep price for a gamble but this is casino chess not kitchen table checkers... its high risk high reward stakes here.. If there is a shred of truth in that rumored 248mil budget Pep G. will get to sign players when he arrives in the summer then best believe its to sign big names with high price tags or there giving him the green light to rebuild the whole damn team. Either Or.

I think 40 mil is a fair price for Neymar since he could flop completely. Maybe Neymar and Dante will talk about Bayern at the NT :-D

Are you guys crazy €40m is not a fair price for a 21 or 22 year old who has never played in Europe. At least Martinez had the experience of playing Barca and Real Madrid 4 times a year while Neymar gets to play sorry Brazilian sides. Also i hate hiw people assume he is from Brazil he must be good, Pato and Robihno were considered flops in the end and i bet the teams that acquired them would second guess if given the opportunity. I dont see how you can justify a Neymar transfer cause of the Martinez transfer....

I would go for Falcao instead. having him in this team..hmm we can contend for everything and everyone should pray not to play against us. Pep's arrival is one of the best things that could happen to us. Now talented and looked after players will consider Bayern as top priority. With the sound management and a bit of luck I can see us dominating Europe for the next decade. We are already CL contenders this year, imagine with a couple of more world class signings, oh boy....
