I think you got confused with Mancini!

Bale is great, but where would he play? Not in place of Ribery and I'd rather give Shaqiri a chance and/or keep Müller on the right instead of him. Same goes with Neymar, except I don't honestly think he's that great. Certainly not great enough to just be handed a start over (the well-proven) Müller. If we would sign him, I would hope and expect that he be required to earn his playing time, just like everyone who is playing now, and I don't see us spending upwards of 50 million Euros on an unproven player.

If we were planning on acquiring a long term solution for the Central Striker position, it would be fantastic if the target could be German. Are there no young German strikers knocking on that door?

Is there a shortage of clubs who seem to have faith in a German spearhead for their teams while they are willing to take the 'gamble' for other positions.

I would not want to buy and keep giving top European experience to a potential member of one of our major rivals at the global stage.

The only possible German option I see is Schurrle.

Pretty much... or if your really that concerned about it you can vote for Poldoski to come back and play CF.. other than that you'll have to wait atleast 2 or 3 more years for some U21 National Team prospects to develop. We already have a couple waiting in the wings.

Too expensive for a player that hasn't proved anything yet. it's a gamble, like playing 0 on the roulette table.

Didn't we gamble when we got Shaqiri and Dante? They were good but also didnt prove anything, and look at them now, best transfers we had

1- Shaqiri and Dante played in Europe
2- Neymar costs 3 times more than those two combined
I TRUST IN ARJEN ROBBEN

Does he cost too much? Hell, yeah.

Is he good enough? Is there a lot of untapped potential? Is he a world star in the making? Can he fit in a team like Bayern? Let's just ask the 1000000 football experts who agree he is.

There's a big difference when buying 2 player for a total of 18m€, instead of one for 86m€. Besides the price, south american talents has proven not to live up to their talent when crossing the pond. For that kind of money we could get 2 perhaps even 3 world class players, who already have proven their potential in the big leagues.

If you combine Neymar skills, transfer fee & our team already great offense then is actually stupid considering a move for mediaNeymarmakingproduct
C'mon guys, why Bayern should splash this ridiculous amount of money for a player who actually doesn't need and take a risk.
Dante yes was a risk but cost 4m,Shaqiri was not quite a risk, because he was exceptional at CL games and we bought them as sub and long time replacement. It's not the same thing with Neymar.

If Uli(or Pep) thinks that Bayern should splash at the summer transfer then we need players who can really take as to the next level(CB,CF)
CB - Chiellini,T.Silva,Kompany,Hummels and for a CF - Falcao,Suarez,Aguero

Anything else has a risk and it's probably unnecessary and of course the overrated Neymar,it's a bad option(!) With the same amount of money we can get the best striker Falcao or Suarez.

You mentioned Schurrle, when I joined this forum, was one of my 1st comments that it's a very good solution to buy Schurrle and transform him to a No.9 he has everything and I like Bayern to have German NT players,I like Schurrle and I think he could succeed at Bayern but Voeller comes...
