I would be in favor of such a move if, and only if, we first get Alexis.

Alexis-Lewy-Müller
Thiago-Özil-Javi (Triangle with Özil in top)
AHBK
Neuer

Maybe I would prefer James for his age, but I do agree wholeheartedly that we need a proper creative Advanced midfielder, because we basically create no chances through the center.

Ummm? Don't know what you mean. I meant something like this;

--------Özil
Thiago-Javi

Maybe Thiago slightly upper than Javi. What I would say is a must is; if Özil were to play in our midfield, Javi (or Rudy) are mandatory; Vidal doesn't have the discipline to cover for Özil's lack of defensive progress.

Yeah, figured so, but. Don't think it makes much difference. In fact I think having Thiago further down would add up to the midfield stability.

If you want a creative midfielder just go for another one. Like Lemar, he is already easily better, cheaper and younger than Özil.. and he runs at high intensity a lot. Physically crazy strong.
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

Do you see him in Champions League ?

I have perfect question for you.

Choose one player between Mbappe who play in a shit league or Higuain who plays in a better League and was one of Real Madrid unreliable player ?

Yeah that is what I though you don't have a clue on what you are talking about so you choose Higuain 29 years old and UCL choke Master.

Im not talking about Higuain and Mbappe its completely irrelevant. How on earth you can actually think Lemar is already better then Özil is asinine to say the least though. Higher ceiling? sure. Better workrate? sure. it stops there. Hes achieved literally nothing so far in his early career.

It's exactly the same.

Higuain 29 years old, ex Real Madrid unreliable player in UCL big games and Mbappe 18 years old amazing talent from a shit league.

Ozil 29 years old, ex Real Madrid unreliable player in UCL big games and Lemar 21 years old amazing talent from a shit league.

If you choose Ozil over Lemar you should take Higuain over Mbappe too.

But tell me who is stupid enough to choose Higuain over Mbappe ?

I rate Lemar quite highly but he's not anywhere near Özil yet, reeks of prisoner of the moment
