Maximilian Riedmüller

I've helped bring home a few titles. There is no reason to get nervous. It's a long season, these things are a matter of patience

Hmm... we already have 3 GKs in the squad. Either Sattelmaier is leaving or else they're demoting him

Could Butt have decided that he doesn't want to play after all, since it is likely he won't see much time on the pitch?

Guys... :^o
The reason he was promoted is to keep a fair number of Germans in the squad. I believe there is a law for this matter.
He won't be getting a single minute, I assure you.

I think that this is It

Because With Usami and without Riedmueller

we will have 22 Players , 11 of the Germans , which is not enough because i think the rule is 50% +1

with Riedmueller and usami

23 palyers and 12 Germans
Champions League ...HERE WE COME

If that was the case, we would have promoted a talented youngster like Juellich to our squad... he could have been our RB backup...

Bring in Oliver Kahn!
We need that kind of mentality in our club, in the team...

When was this rule implemented? I never heard of it and it surely isn't in Football Manager 11 either...
The only 50%+1 rule I heard of is related to shares in the club, that no individual or private company may own 50% (or more) of the shares

Bayern should always have more Germans than foreigners.

I think the only rule that exists, is the UEFA's local player regulation.

bundesliga.de wrote:This required each club to have at least four players under contract for the start of the 2006-2007 season who had come up through the youth system of a German club. That figure rose to six for the 2007-2008 season and to eight for the start of the 2008-2009 campaign. At least half of these players must have been eligible to play for the club concerned between the ages of 15 and 21.

I think it's either the 50%+1 rule mentioned here, or else that every club must have 12 German players (I think it was like this). We had signed Dreher in the past for this reason, remember?

i am not sure if it is exactly 50% +1 but every club must have over 50% Germans
