I wonder why the board, apparently, direct their efforts to sign Darmian.. Don't get me wrong, i really like this guy, but Rafinha is just fine to me :(
Anyway, he'll be a good addition to the squad, I dont saw to much of him in action but he seems to be very versatile.
May Bayern rule the world again!

looking at the rest of the squad, Rafinha is a relative weak spot. Plus, he'll be turning 30 this fall.

If this is legit, I'm pretty excited about it. Rafinha has been awesome but seeing as we dont have a RB under 30(Weiser is NOT a right back!), this is a great buy for the future.

Agree. And that 1.5m wage, if it is true, won't be a burden in our wage bill and we have more to spend on other players. The good thing with these Italian players is, no matter what club they come from, Bayern is an upgrade in every aspect and they are happy. Quite different with PL players

Yes. No PL clubs in any quarter-final in any european competition this year. But good luck matching their wages & PL "prestige" or whatever they think prestige means.

Feels very much like a "Football Manager" buy.

Young player, only recently made the radar, smaller club, big potential fee.

Watching Croatia-Italy right now. Darmian is playing as a LB and he's pretty solid. It's just him and Bonucci who's keeping Croatia from scoring more.
Defensively, he seems very good. Offensively, can't really tell. Italy's playing style doesn't give him too much leeway in the attack.
