The arrogance of the english media is astounding. Every year they are dead certs to win in any competition they compete in. The PL is the best league in the world, Napoli can be beaten by any good defence, bayern are nothing without ribery and robben, barca are weak at the back etc. It goes on and on...

Its really funny how far English football has fallen on the European front. With a possibility after today with no english team, and mountains of debt for their clubs -- why are the media thinking its the best in the world. They only need look at Bayern -- the only top club who isn't in debt --- the one thing the top teams lack. So we are the best club, and we don't have to sell. After last night, I would only sell Gomez for €150 Mill.

I seen it live on Sky sports and Hoddle does not have a clue about anything, never mind football.
The english media are scum, all they do is praise them and critizise the german league.
The english league is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY behind the BL and La liga.

Also why would a top German and BL player go to a "small" league in England when the best german player of last decade, Michael Ballack hated england and is now safely home in the best league in the world.

Well, i wont be mad if someone comes and offer 40M euros for our "tap in guy".

I feel United would be a lateral move for Gomez, not an upgrade or a downgrade. However Chelsea is an obvious downgrade. A team in transition who has erratic management.

All these English commentators are smug ass holes. They live in this imaginary world where English football is the best.
