The deal probably includes Sahin to go the other way? That was the rumor in the beginning...

Better Dortmund than to another league!

Good signing by Dortmund! Could prove vital for next season together with Toprak. If Aubameyang also stays, they will be a force to be reckoned with next year, given that no vital players leave (which some of them probably will... :-k )

I don't see why BVB can become such a force with these two signings even if Auba stays... For me they stay in the same level, the only way for BVB to become so much better is by Marco Reus if the blondie can stay fully fit & healthy then yes he can upgrade them he has that talent but since Tuchel came Reus ain't the player he used to be.

Toprak is a joke, moreover I don't see the logic behind this transfer and Tuchel's obsession with the Turk, he is very similar to Sokratis style but quite below his level, the only thing he can add is experience and air-force nothing else, he is a starter to the most suicidal defense in Europe,Leverkusen.
Dahoud is a special talent indeed but just another talent, Dembele level but you can't expect from him to carry BVB on his shoulder. Considering that Auba stays then BVB needs a quality midfielder next to Weigl, a quality GK and definitely an equal partner for Sokratis while Toprak will add depth as a main rotation player for the starter CB-duo, then we can talk about a serious contender until then Bayern's straight titles will be infinite.

Coming in 2017-2018: BVB - RBL, the battle at the Kindergarten backyard.

Seriously though; both teams will have amazing reservoirs of nextgen superstars.

Weigl, Dembele, Pulisic, Mor, Dahoud
Vs
Keira, Werner, Poulsen

Partly agree about Toprak, must admit I haven't seen enough of him to rate him and also think Tah is much better. I also think they should have bought another and better defender. And yes, they do need a top-goalkeeper! Burki is not an elite-level goalie.
That being said, classifying Dahoud as "just another talent" is pushing it. He does have significant Bundesliga experience.

Toprak is a good center-half, not WC, but pretty decent overall.

Exactly, "decent" is perhaps the right word. He should be at least as good as Ginter. And taking into account the amount they are paying for him.

Eberl has said that there's no such deal with Dortmund yet and that BMG are still looking to extend Dahoud...however, if they can't reach an extension, then they may sell

Next year Bürki is going to be 27 years old,Passlac-19,Ginter-24,Bartra-27,Schmelzer-30,Dahoud-22,Weigl-22,Pulisic-19,Dembele-20,Reus-28,Isak-18.

Also they have Emre Mor,Merino,Guereirro,Durm..

I like what they are doing with the team. After 2 or 3 years, they are going to be scary team with young core.
