We haven't bought a South American player directly from South America since Breno. Our board expressed our desire for this, and it was a factor as to why Pep's wish for Neymar was turned down by the Bayern board. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I doubt it is.

... especially that he's already 25 years old and is still hasn't made it to European football.

Great, I watched this guy alot since he played for my national team: Sport Recife, in our national second division. In my team he was a key player in our campaign (we got promoted that year), getting attention from Santos, where he also became a key player, and further one of the best players in the whole country.. He has been called up for the Brazilian Nt squad..

In Santos here is all rounder midfielder, probably the best playmaker playing in Brazil..
I wouldn't mind his transfer, since we have a crowded midfield and excellent players to do the bild up, and he wouldn't fit on the wings..
May Bayern rule the world again!

He looks agile, pacey, great acceleration... doesn't do too much useless fancy stuff, he fits with that attitude in European football. For my taste better than Ganso...

He has a great vision and is a beast when counter attacking. Problem is he plays in a weak league so he barely has proved himself. At the national team he's always under performing (like every other player there though). Scouts were watching him play in a league equivalent to Regionalliga, so I don't think that's to be taken seriously lol the newspaper is reliable though.
EDIT: reading the article, it says his agent is hitting at a possible exit, and I'm sure that's just another bullshit rumor coming from these mercenaries.

You nailed it..
Ganso suffers a lot of criticism for his inconsistency.. Although he has more vision, he lacks pace, and agility too much.. He isn't the same after the injuries while he was still at Santos.
May Bayern rule the world again!

Pretty sure Neymar was an impossible transfer for any team outside of barcelona.

Bayern Munich target Lucas Lima ready for move, says agent [source]

Bayern Munich target Lucas Lima could have played his last match for Brazil's Santos, the midfielder's agent has said. The 25-year-old helped Santos to a 1-0 victory over Audax on Sunday, a result that gave the club their 22nd Sao Paulo state title, reports Xinhua.Agent Wagner Ribeiro said the Brazil international felt the time was right to leave.

"We've spoken with Santos," Ribeiro said on Sunday. "Santos don't want him to leave because they only have a small percentage of his economic rights and don't stand to make as much. But he is a player who should be at one of the top clubs in Europe."Lima, who was forced off the pitch during Sunday's match with an ankle injury, has reportedly declined offers from Napoli, Porto and China Hebei Fortune in recent months.

But according to the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper the Brazil international is in talks with Bayern Munich, who sent a scout to watch him play and train last week.

Lima has been capped eight times for Brazil after making his debut in the Brazil's 1-0 win over Costa Rica in September.

With 25 years, if he had the quality to help us, he'd play in Europe already...
