But according to catalan newspaper "Ara", Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, denied that his club is interested in signing Lionel Messi and advised the Argentine to stay at Barcelona until he retires.

"What would Messi cost? €250m? I think Messi will stay at Barcelona until he hangs up his boots".

"If I were his father, I'd always tell him: 'Stay at Barcelona. The city adores you, it made you the player you are and it made you rich'. Messi won't find another club like Barcelona".

Messi won't ever come to Bayern or any other German team for that matter. He's watched what happened to Uli Hoeneß after he was caught evading tax, and he certainly wouldn't like to share the prison cell with his dad who would remind him every day "I told you to stay at Barcelona".

We don't even need Messi, let's not forget only 11 players can be fielded. Our squad is too beast already

On the offense side, he would bench every single one of our players. Maybe not Robben if you compare both's current form..

He knows how to play false nine. :P
Just imagining it is kinda impossible, he'll have no choice but to join one of the oil clubs if he wants to leave.

Well Messi plays false 9 and Lewa seems to be the one closest to being dropped from our offensive players... unless we count Gotze as a starter when everyone is fit.

Adidas pay Lionel Messi €18m per year but an internal report says 70% of fans identify the Argentine with Nike. The German brand want Messi to move to Bayern Munich ahead of their other affiliated clubs, like Real Madrid or Manchester United. [source]

If Adidas wants to pay 70% of his value, no problem... FFP is not after us, even it was, we can live for years without transferring anyone.
They're shareholders at Bayern, I don't know about other clubs... That's a Bavarian brand.
If Messi knows to drive, Audi would give their 10 bucks too. :P

I am not a lunatic...but I have a feeling that he might be very close to a move into our direction. I always say this. A BVB friend of mine 2 years ago told me that in two yrs time you will have Messi 50% paid by adidas) ...
The prob is that MU will be adidas too as from next season:-?

I think that if he does move it will be either us or Chelsea, but I think he'll stay.

I love how much adidas prefers us to other clubs though. We really are adidas's club, without them actually owning us.

Manchester has markets all over the world... not without a reason the most hyped club alongside RM. It's profitable for both, they reach with their market where Bayern doesn't just yet. Nike lost... Adidas won.
